The Shaw Group is looking to add a Landscape Territory Account Manager to the Shaw Brick team in Lantz, Nova Scotia.

Shaw Brick is a leading and trusted Atlantic Canadian manufacturer, distributor and retailer of clay brick, concrete block and concrete landscape products. The Brick Division’s manufacturing plants include a clay brick plant, two block plants and a concrete landscape products plant. Shaw Brick products are sold and supported by five Shaw Retail Centres and a network of over 340 independent retailers throughout Eastern Canada.

As a Landscape Territory Account Manager, you will be responsible for educating current and potential new customers on the benefits of working with Shaw Brick and their products. You will build and leverage relationships with the landscape contractor customer base to sell Shaw Brick products. Your interpersonal skills will assist you when meeting with customers and gain understanding of what their needs are so that you can communicate how Shaw Brick can meet and exceed those requirements, highlighting Shaw’s excellent customer service and unique value proposition. You will build programs for your clients and manage the relationship in a way that builds a long-term connection to Shaw. Additionally, you will use data and intel to identify areas for potential growth and quantify business decisions.

As the ideal candidate, your post secondary education is coupled with at least 5 years experience in sales. You are a quick learner who is driven, self-directed and who has excellent interpersonal skills. You have experience with Customer Relationship Management software and MS office suite. Passionate about the industry, you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to show how products are installed and enjoy going out on site to truly understand your customers’ needs. A strong relationship builder and manager you have proven your ability to grow a business and exceed customers expectations. You are results focused, with the ability to turn marketplace needs into product sales.
